A Passion for Parenting: Applying Biblical Wisdom to Modern Life

As dads and moms who follow Jesus, we desire to parent for our kids' good and Christ’s glory, but sin and suffering often cloud our perspective. Thankfully, God gives us help for this hard but wonderful job. This 5-week class will help parents to create or renew their Biblical frameworks for family life by examining Scripture, exploring motivations, analyzing contemporary thinking, and reflecting with their spouse or trusted friends. We'll discuss topics like discipline, technology, corporate worship, extra-hard situations, and family rhythms, all with the hope of calibrating our minds to God's heart for his children.

Two classes will meet in person (with childcare provided), two asynchronously, and one on Zoom (see schedule at link). Homework will consist of reflection and discussion, with no assigned reading. This class is designed for parents in a variety of situations and seasons.
